I have so many new projects and collaborations coming up for you guys within the next few weeks that I am more than excited about. Today I have partnered with L'Oreal & Influenster to bring you a full detailed and honest review of their new Extraordinary Oil line!
NEED TO KNOW INFO:
Before I ever bring any product to you and tell you that I LOVE/HATE it I will always use it several times over a couple of weeks. It is also important for you to know that I naturally have very oily hair so when I first received this product in the mail I was very put off by the word "Oil" in the title and became a little concerned with how my hair would react.NEED TO KNOW INFO:
1. Extraordinary Oil Shampoo
When you put the word oil in anything I freak out but especially so when it's in my shampoo. Typically when oil is put in shampoos in excessive amounts I never feel like my hair gets very clean and it always leaves me feeling greasy. That was not the case here. L'Oreal promises "Deep nourishment without the weight for incredibly lustrous, touchably soft hair" and that is EXACTLY what I got! Even before putting in the conditioner I could already notice a difference in my hair
2.Extraordinary Oil Conditioner
Oily conditioner is never something that I want to use. I rarely apply conditioner to my roots ever because of my easily oily hair but with this I just took the plunge and went for it. I have been applying this conditioner all throughout my hair and even letting it sit for the full 2 minutes. Believe it or not, I haven't had any problems. The word oil may be in the title but it has definitely not left me feeling oily at all. My hair feels SO healthy that it's insane. This stuff has made such a difference that I could literally skip my leave in conditioner and not have any issues. (I won't obliviously but I could.)
3. Lustrous Oil Serum
Never do I ever use any type of oil serum. Seriously, NEVER. It took me a while after using the shampoo to work up the nerve to put this stuff in my hair and I made sure to do it on a day off when I wasn't doing anything or going anywhere. I am so mad at myself for waiting so long. I should've used this them moment I got it in the mail because it is THAT amazing. It is so lightweight and it is perfect for any hair style. I especially love it for days like today when it is windy and gross outside.You can get any of these products at your local Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, etc. If I'm being completely honest, none of these products would've found their way into my cart at the store. I was, am and always will be put off by the word oil in any hair care product. (Other than hot oil treatments. Those are the best.) I have been pleasantly surprised by this line and how lightweight it actually turned out to be. I will not personally be replacing my normal shampoo or conditioner with these but if you are on a budget and you need some hair repair this is a good second best to salon brands!
